LOS ANGELES—Two-time Pornhub Award winner Morgpie and social media influencer Zander Small are behind a brand new content-protection service for digital content creators across various sectors. The tool is especially geared toward preventing potential leaks of paid content from digital sex workers.
Morgpie and Small explained to AVN that their concept, Fanlock.com, enables content creators, employing federal DMCA laws, to mitigate copyright infringement and intellectual property theft, including for protected works such as fetish clips and other self-produced NSFW digital content.
Small, the chief technical officer and a co-founder, broke down the entire functionality of Fanlock.com. The platform scans Google search results, social media platforms, messaging services, content piracy and "leak" sites, and other places where stolen content may appear.
Morgpie and Small tout Fanlock as the first content takedown service to effectively go after Telegram channels and accounts that distribute potentially stolen content.
"I graduated last year with my master's in software engineering," Small told AVN. "I come from a professional background in software engineering, even though the content I’m typically involved with is more in the comedy and anime space.
"Around November, my girlfriend—who creates SFW pay-per-view cosplay content on platforms like Patreon—ran into an issue with deepfakes," he continued. "As many creators know, dealing with deepfakes can be extremely mentally taxing. On top of that, she also experienced a couple of content leaks.
"If you searched her name on Google along with terms like 'leaks,' you’d find websites distributing her paid content for free, which is obviously a major issue," he added. "She came to me for help, and with my engineering background, I was able to assist her in getting much of that content taken down, which was a positive outcome."
"After that, I started hearing through the grapevine—through close friends’ posts and general word of mouth—that other creators were dealing with similar problems. That got me thinking: What tools are people actually using to address this? And more importantly, are they working?"
That bore the concept of Fanlock.com. Fanlock scans for pirated content and deepfakes and automatically sends DMCA takedown notices to targeted webmasters or content pirates. According to Small, the platform is designed especially for creators on subscription and pay-per-view platforms like OnlyFans and Fansly.
The service offers dashboards to track detected leaks, automated filings, and the ability to escalate to hosts or payment providers if a site doesn’t comply with initial takedowns. All of this is possible at affordable pricing, Morgpie and Small added. Morgpie was brought on to the project as an investor and co-founder.
Related Morgpie, "I mean, with my content being leaked, it's always been a super uphill battle. I've been in content creation since 2019, just like right out the gate, and pretty much just making porn immediately. Back then, I didn't know how to price my stuff properly. I didn't know how to take the steps to make sure my content was bringing me as much as it possibly could.
"My leaks were crazy and all over the place," she said. "I was just spending so much money on these platforms that weren't really doing anything. [...] My stuff was all over Telegram."
Small interjected, "I think from Telegram, you had close to 5,000 posts up in the past year of people sharing your content. And I think the combined view count was roughly two to five million views on just lead content on Telegram. It was a pretty significant number."
Fanlock is now available for content creators of all categories. Paid plans start at $49 per month, with total coverage with Telegram takedown services starting at $199 per month. Annual subscriptions are available, including free DIY plans.
