Michael Pratt Ordered to Pay GirlsDoPorn Victims Nearly $76 Mil

SAN DIEGO—Michael Pratt, the mastermind behind the GirlsDoPorn sex trafficking ring, was ordered by a federal district judge to pay nearly $76 million in restitution to the over 100 women he and his co-conspirators victimized through its trafficking activities.

Pratt was sentenced to 27 years for his role, especially as the owner of the sites GirlsDoPorn and GirlsDoToys, and as the co-owner of MomPOV.com. The sex trafficking scheme took place between 2007 and 2019.

U.S. District Judge Janis Sammartino of the Southern District of California (SDC) ordered that Pray pay a total of $75,568,283.47, exactly, as a result of his conspiracy to commit sex trafficking felony conviction.

"Today’s $76 million restitution order is a powerful acknowledgment of the lifelong harm inflicted on these women,” said Adam Gordon, the U.S. Attorney for the SDC, via Courthouse News

"While no amount of money would fully remedy what they endured, this order holds Pratt financially accountable for some part of the harm that he caused these victims.”

Sammartino also stripped Pratt and his now defunct companies of all ownership rights to the likeness of the women who were put on camera by his criminal enterprise and transferred them to all survivors of the scheme.

The judge wrote in her order, "All purported model releases and other agreements between GDP and/or GDT and its models purporting to give GDP and/or GDT the right to use, publish, or otherwise exploit its models’ images, likenesses, or videos are void and unenforceable."

Note that other convicted co-conspirators are ordered to pay restitution, including the videographers Matthew Wolfe and Theodore Gyi, the male performers Andre Garcia and Douglas Wiederhold, and bookkeeper Valerie Moser. All received separate sentences.

As AVN has reported, Wiederhold was the co-owner of MomPOV.com and was sentenced for his involvement with the Pratt-led criminal enterprise.
