CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Adult industry trade group the Free Speech Coalition issued the following advisory for adult talent Monday afternoon:
FSC has been notified that an individual arrested in Southern California was found to be carrying a list containing the personal information (including social security and bank account numbers) of hundreds of adult stars. The City of Orange Police Department is in the process of notifying the people included in the list.
What to Do
If you've been the victim of identity theft or suspect that you may have been, start by placing fraud alerts and a security freeze on your credit reports. Just contact one of the three nationwide credit reporting agencies:
