NEW YORK—Austin Wolf, the once-popular gay performer charged with federal child pornography crimes last summer, intends to plead guilty, say court filings seen by AVN.
Wolf was arrested last summer for possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials, per the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
"[Austin Wolf] intends to plead guilty to a mandatory minimum charge with a significant advisory range under the United States Sentencing Guidelines," reads a letter sent to the federal district judge presiding over Wolf's case. The letter was sent by Wolf's lawyer, high-end criminal defense attorney Thomas H. Andrykovitz of Midtown Manhattan.
The Advocate reports that a plea hearing is scheduled for this coming Friday at 11:45 a.m. The documents published to the court confirm this. AVN reported in June 2024 that the complaint filed with the court outlines federal felony counts that could place Wolf in federal prison for many years to come.
For example, videos he sent and received depicted children as young as infants, including a 10-year-old child being raped and bound. Wolf is also accused of possessing hundreds of videos depicting CSAM in his Manhattan apartment, according to the Department of Justice from last summer.
Wolf was detected exchanging CSAM through Telegram between March 24 and March 28 of last year. He was exchanging the materials with an unnamed individual whose phone the FBI also seized after acquiring a search warrant.
In a bid to confirm his identity online, an undercover FBI agent contacted Wolf on his anonymous Telegram account.
After a conversation, the FBI agent was able to glean personally identifiable information, confirming that Wolf was the owner of the anonymous account. The FBI executed a search warrant on April 21, 2024, which revealed an SD storage card with hundreds of CSAM videos. A federal judge then issued an arrest warrant, and he was apprehended.
Austin Wolf has appeared in over 100 gay porn titles for some of the largest brands in the adult industry. He is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
