CHICAGO – Sister Roma, the irreverent, effervescent co-hostess of NakedSword’s Tim & Roma Show, will provide running commentary and interview stars on the red carpet at the 2009 Grabby Erotic Video Awards ceremony later this month.
The Grabbys will be awarded during a gala celebration at Chicago’s Park West Theatre May 23.
This year marks the third that Sister Roma and NakedSword have hosted the Grabbys’ red carpet events. Working with NakedSword’s e-zine website TheSword.com, the drag diva also covered 2009 red carpet activities at the Cybersocket Web Awards in February and the GAYVN Awards in March.
As part of NakedSword’s recently announced initiative to increase production of behind-the-scenes and events coverage, Sister Roma also will be shooting footage for The Tim & Roma Show at the International Mr. Leather Market over Memorial Day weekend.
In addition, “The World’s Most Photographed Nun” plans to hold court at popular gay bar Roscoe’s on May 22. While there, she will interview as many of the 30 porn stars who are expected to attend as humanly possible. Some lucky fans will walk away with NakedSword memberships and coupons for a free RealTouch, AEBN’s soon-to-be-launched Web-enabled sex toy for porn lovers.
The footage from the events will be featured on TheSword.com as short clips as well as running as a full episode of The Tim & Roma Show. Both versions will be integrated into NakedSword’s suite of tools designed to help video-on-demand affiliates convert surfers into members.
