SAN FRANCISCO - Raging Stallion Studios has signed four new exclusive models to long-term print and modeling contracts. Established stars Tristan Jaxx, Damian Rios and Bo Matthews join new discovery Manuel DeBoxer as the newest additions to the RSS stable of exclusive-contract players, bringing the team total to just over 20.
Each of the new exclusives will be featured in the upcoming To The Last Man, a cowboy movie scheduled to begin filming in August in New Mexico.
"We produce so many movies - just about 50 this year - so we have a strong need for top talent," RSS president Chris Ward said. "Because of our output, we need to have guaranteed access to top stars. Exclusive contracts are the way to guarantee our talent supply.
"Each of these men will help Raging Stallion stay at the top of the industry," Ward added. "All of them are hot men who very much represent the broad look of the Raging Stallion type. I look forward to working with them all over the next year."
Jaxx joined RSS after a year working at Falcon Studios. He said he enjoyed working for Falcon but felt RSS was a better fit for his rough-and-rugged features.
"At Raging Stallion we will shoot him with his chest hair," Ward said. "I have admired his work over at Falcon; they worked with him very well. Our Tristan Jaxx will be something a bit different."
Jaxx is married to RSS exclusive Tristan Phoenix.
DeBoxer already has performed in two films for RSS. French Canadian by birth, he has a swarthy look that fits the historic RSS image: muscular, hairy jocks. DeBoxer is featured in the upcoming title The Drifter, a film shot in July in the northern California woods. The Drifter is due for release in early September, Ward said.
Rios was an exclusive for Ridgeline Films before becoming a free agent. In an unusual move, Raging Stallion and Randy Blue will share the actor for the duration of his contract, making Rios the industry's only joint exclusive.
"Damian brings us a great look," Ward said. "Raging Stallion has long had a strong Latin influence - we won Best Latin Movie many times at the GAYVNs. He is also a real charmer."
Matthews worked in several RSS movies as a free agent. He and the studio fell in love with each other, so it surprised neither when they entered an exclusive contract.
"Bo is one of San Francisco's finest men, and I don't mean just in terms of his good looks," Ward said. "He is a great guy."
