Raging Stallion Studios' Hard as Wood, which went into wholesale distribution yesterday, is one of the studio's rare all-outdoor movies. The film, a nine-man, five-scene, extended-play movie, was jointly directed by Chris Ward and Michael Brandon for the studio's Monster Bang line.
Set on Raging Stallion's 55-acre Northern California ranch, Hard as Wood stars Brandon, Rafael Alencar (on loan from Studio 2000), and introduces French hunk François Sagat, the company's newest exclusive.
Hard As Wood is built around deep woods campfire tales. Brandon and European superstar Mike Power swap erotic stories and fantasies, each of which is the framework for a scene in the movie. Most of the five scenes are divided into several parts and contain multiple cum-shots, according to Raging Stallion's press announcement.
Director Ward is particularly excited about the introduction of François Sagat, calling his body "perfectly sculpted" and "representing the apex of the male physique. His scene in a dry riverbed with Michael Brandon is a show-stopper that will certainly gain the attention of fans and industry players alike. In short, a new star is born in this amazing scene."
Though Raging Stallion has other outdoor movies to its credit, the company's "look" is popularly considered to be its distinctive, minimal, slickly stylish sex club sets. Commenting about his move outdoors, Ward explained, "Since we had a permanent setup in Northern California, I thought we should shift our focus a bit and film more wilderness sex. I made a great movie called Lumberjacks: Crimes Against Nature for Falcon a few years ago, but I have not had much chance to get out of the city for shoots for a few years."
Director/performer Brandon added that Hard as Wood "is one of the most ambitious movies we have ever made. Monster Bang is very close to my heart, and since I perform in only a few movies a year I make sure I put everything into my performance. This is one of my best films. Fans are gonna love it! Fucking never felt better!"
