Jake Jaxson's 'Gods & Heroes' Makes World Premiere for CockyBoys

NEW YORK—CockyBoys on Thursday unveiled the world premiere of its most ambitious production in more than a decade: Jake Jaxson's mythological fantasy feature, Gods & Heroes.

A multiple GayVN Award-winning director, Jaxson returns to the cinematic storytelling that helped establish him as one of gay adult entertainment's most influential filmmakers.

In Episode One, the gods of Greek mythology awaken after centuries of quiet rest, and they are not amused by the state of the human condition. In this big-budget erotic fantasy, the old gods confront a modern world that has traded myth, mystery, beauty, and divine spark for a new false deity: Big Tech.

Discussing the inspiration behind the project, Jaxson says:

"Where's our own gay origin story? It's long overdue. With this project, I attempt to tell stories that have been erased, hidden, distorted, or destroyed for far too long. With Gods & Heroes, I wanted to create a fantasy where the old gods awaken, desire becomes destiny, and gay men are no longer outside the myth. We are the heroes. We are the creators. We are divine through our audacity to be fully, beautifully, and unapologetically ourselves."

The series opens with Hermes (Seth Cain), messenger of the gods, awakening Zeus (Cade Maddox) and informing him of the state of the mortal world. Bemused but increasingly angered by what he discovers, Zeus commands Hermes to awaken the other gods and help identify a new hero capable of challenging humanity's modern false idols.

Yet even the king of the gods has his appetites.

Alone on Olympus, Zeus finds himself restless, bored, and consumed by desire. With a snap of his fingers, he summons three beautiful mortals—played by Oliver Carter, Zane Kazan, and Gage Palmer—to satisfy his legendary libido. What follows is a wild fourgy.

Maddox brings his signature charisma to the role of Zeus, while Carter, Kazan, and Palmer "embody the sensuality, freedom, and unapologetic desire that define the project as a whole," Jaxson says.

Episode One is now streaming exclusively on CockyBoys.com.
