BERLIN—Independent erotic film director Noel Alejandro has dropped his second production of 2025 with Goodbye.
Goodbye is an erotic drama from the Spanish Berlin-based director, and stars Jonathan Miranda and Sailor Jones. “It weighs on the emotional intensity of the parting moment between two lovers who have shared a brief, intense connection,” a plot synopsis said.
On the chemistry of Miranda and Jones, Alejandro said, “What struck me was their capacity to carry emotion in stillness. From the very beginning, they had a quiet connection that didn’t feel acted—it felt lived-in. They were generous with each other in their scenes, listening closely, reacting in subtle ways. That trust allowed me to step back more than usual and let things breathe. Their performances brought a lot more depth than what was on the page.”
“Guzman tells Piro he is going away for just a year. The film focuses on the moments before he leaves, all of the tension in the lead up and the emotionally-charged passion in the intimacy of the goodbye,” the synopsis described.
Guzman is played by newcomer Miranda. Piro is played by Jones, who is also a writer, music producer, director and comedian.
Alejandro also recently launched NoelAlejandroFilms.com as a monthly subscription service with a new release slated for every two months.
The director initially got his start working with adult director Erika Lust. His work includes titles like Remember I Am Dead (2024) and Call Me a Ghost (2017), which both explore dark erotic encounters with lovers from beyond the grave. Alejandro also directed gay title Bello (2012).
