Specialty Publications, a leading gay adult media company and publisher of popular Freshmen magazine, will publish a special commemorative issue of Freshmen celebrating its 15 years in print on August 30.
As part of the 15th Anniversary festivities, the magazine will kick off a national celebratory tour on September 9.
According to Dustin Tyner, Specialty Publications director of sales and marketing, the Anniversary issue will showcase some of the best exclusive images and hottest models from the magazine’s 15 years, and will include never-seen-before images from the Freshmen archive.
Falcon Studios exclusive Roman Heart, “Freshman-of-the-Year 2006,” is the cover model of this special collectors’ edition.
“Being chosen ‘Freshman of the Year’ for 2006 was an incredible honor and so is being on the cover of the special edition issue,” said Heart. “Freshmen was the first gay magazine I hid under my bed when I was still living at home with my parents.”
Specialty Publications will honor its Freshmen flagship brand with a highly visible presence nationwide this fall with the Freshmen 15th Anniversary Tour, presented by Straight College Men, a new advertising partner of Freshmen in the last year.
“Our readers just cannot get enough of their guys,” said Tyner. “I am happy to announce that attendees will be seeing much more of the men from Straight College Men at different locations on the tour.”
The tour will include a series of exclusive cocktail parties held at bars and clubs across the U.S. beginning September 9 and continuing through October. The tour kicks off at The Dock in Cincinnati, Ohio. The special guest that night will be Rascal Video exclusive Benjamin Bradley.
Other porn stars scheduled to appear in selected clubs on the tour are Roman Heart, Rascal exclusive Johnny Hazzard, and All Worlds exclusives Kevin Brown and Chad Savage.
Men from Straight College Men will make appearances at five clubs: Bacchus House, San Diego (9/21); Piranha, Las Vegas (9/29); Bounce, Cleveland, Ohio (10/19); AXIS, Columbus, Ohio (10/20); and Pop Starz at the Factory, West Hollywood (10/27).

Additional sponsors of the tour will have direct access to targeted consumers through a number of multi-media opportunities.
