XBiz.com's new Gay Expressway message board has an early and enthusiastic supporter in Ounique.com. The adult Web photography provider is offering a ten percent discount for Gay Expressway members.
"We've been very supportive of a lot of the new Webmasters," said sales representative Don to AVN Online, "and it was a good opportunity to let people know we were here and supportive of the people who were just starting out."
The Gay Expressway discounts will apply to all Ounique.com video clips, images, and stories.
Lori Z., XBiz.com marketing and business development director, said this was entirely Ounique's idea, with no suggestion from her – and that's a good thing.
"It's nice to know that people are offering incentives to kind of generate business, and that's really great," she said. "That's good to see. That's the vision. That more people get involved, and see that there's opportunity there and offer an incentive to drive that business and open their doors to everybody. And if that's happening through our board, that's part of our goal – help the communities find each other. And if they're putting up incentives on their own, without (us) asking them to do that, I think that's amazing."
Ounique.com is also running a "Buy More, Save More Sale" on most of its photosets, pre-made CD-ROMs, video clips, and stories. "We do have a few here and there that we're not allowed to offer on sale," Don said, "but it's definitely more allowed than isn't."
The sale terms include 20-29 items at a 20 percent savings; 30-39 items at a 30 percent savings; 40-49 items at a 40 percent savings; and, 50 or more items at a 50 percent savings, all before tax and shipping.
