MONTREAL—Disruptive Films has wrapped production on its newest feature, Pledge Daddy, which is set to release on August 8, 2025. The movie marks director Jessica Jasmin's solo debut helming a gay feature.
According to a company synopsis, "At the center of the film is Brody Montgomery (Jayden Marcos), president of Delta Omega Mu Epsilon—better known as DOME, the most elite, athletic, and absurdly attractive frat on campus. When Brody appoints Bennett Sutherland (Johnny Donovan) as this year’s pledge dad, he isn’t just handing out a title—he’s entrusting him with the future of the house. And Bennett doesn’t take the job lightly. With pledges Cooper Pentz and Reed Blackwell catching his eye (and maybe a little more), Bennett, along with ex-pledge dad James Fox (Justin DaJock) and President Montgomery himself, sets out to whip this pledge class into shape—physically, emotionally, and fraternally."
The movie also stars Jack Valor and Andrew Delta.
ASGmax resident director Micah Martinez commented, “Working with Jess and the talent we had for this feature was amazing. Everyone was so on it and ready to take on such an interesting script! I genuinely had a blast working with everyone, and the experience of working with a new director who knows so much was an absolute treat.”
Added Jasmin, “This was my first time directing a gay movie solo, and also my first time working with a brand-new crew. Micah and Dr. Octopussy were incredible—supportive, creative and fully invested in bringing my vision to life. Everything ran so smoothly, and the talents were top-tier. All the guys were professional on set, and genuinely lovely behind the scenes.”
