LOS ANGELES—After his epic triple penetration in Wild Game—the NakedSword X Disruptive Films collab that just won the GayVN Award for Best Feature—Derek Kage deserved some rest.
But diabolical director Ben Rush had other ideas. Instead of letting Kage recover for the holidays, he cast him in Bred & Breakfast: The Push It Inn. Then he promptly made Kage bend over for a unique DP featuring Sir Peter and a very thick decorative candy cane.
So Kage certainly gets some time to wind down now, right?
As it turns out, all that came before was just a warmup for the award-winning performer’s latest project from NakedSword Originals. Just when you think they’re run out of ways to test Kage’s limits, Rush raises the bar again—and Kage wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Ben knows how to create magic in porn. He’s proven that beyond a doubt, so I always trust his vision. He also knows where he can push boundaries to get something truly unique.”
As you can guess from the title—Ten Out of Ten: Derek’s First Gonzo Gangbang—it tests Kage’s limits more than ever before. The studio just released the concluding installment of two extreme scenes, cementing the performer and director as a boundary-pushing duo.
“This one started as a ‘what if…’ conversation with Derek that, of course, I pretended was innocent,” Rush says. “Once we realized the right people were available and the chemistry was already on fire, it turned into a quiet agreement to stop playing it safe and lean fully into it. There was a lot of trust involved, not just creatively but in knowing that if we gave everyone the space to let go, things would escalate perfectly. And honestly? The best part is that moment when you realize the plan might’ve worked a little too well and there’s no turning back.”
The project places Kage as the literal centerpiece of a breathless gangbang that ups the ante on his Wild Game fourgy. It boasts enough DPs and TPs for five different movies.
“I love getting DP-ed. It’s an intense physical feeling to be stretched open like that, and then it’s an intense mental feeling to know I’m just being used by multiple guys over and over,” Kage says. “All of it is very pleasurable to me. To hear the tops all having a great time was music to my ears as the sole bottom. I’ve never had a scene like this, but I hope it happens multiple times throughout my career.”
Rush says the project stands out because of its layers and momentum. Even when it looks wild, he says there’s a rhythm, timing and energy to manage—adding that when gangbangs are done well, they are intimate and impossible to look away from.
“Doubles and triples aren’t just spectacle; they’re about building energy, timing, and flow so it never feels repetitive,” Rush says. “I come up with ideas by reading chemistry, pushing boundaries in a playful way, and letting the scene evolve naturally. When everything lines up, it’s memorable and thrilling.”
Standing in line for a chance to stuff Kage are nine verbal tops. “Each of them has their own flavor, and watching them riff off each other—laughing, teasing, pushing limits—was half the fun,” Rush says. “On set, you could feel the mischief building, and I think that’s part of what made every moment pop.”
They’re led by Falcon | NakedSword headliner Heath Halo, recent GayVN Award winner Alex Kof, and show co-host Tony Genius. They’re joined by Brogan, Ty Santana, Colt Spence, Miles Fallon, Chris Damned and Dio Ferrero.
“When I saw the lineup of guys, I was beyond excited,” Kage gushes. “Some of the them I’d worked with before, and some were newcomers. I was eager to experience them all at once. Preparation, both mental and physical, was easy given that eagerness. The most challenging part was actually maintaining one position for multiple guys. Being on my knees for that long with all these men going at me is much harder than it looks!”
Kage had experience as a gangbang top in both gay and straight porn, and was a gangbang bottom for CumDumpSluts in late 2024.
“But those are typically one top at a time. I just happened to get so cock hungry that I was grabbing at dicks and demanded a DP from them,” Kage says. “I learned from straight guys like Victor Ray and Milan Ponjevic how to stay active in a gangbang and just keep the dick going. As far as being a bottom for multiple guys, I’ve been training my entire adult life. I once went to a Horse Market as a mare where there were hours and hours of all kinds of dick just using me nonstop. It’s intense, but I absolutely love it.”
Rush has been sharpening his gangbang skill as well, including the two signature scenes from each Spain in the Ass film.
“They taught me timing, chemistry, and how to guide multiple performers while keeping the scene vibrant and playful. Over time, you learn when to step in and when to let things unfold, which is where the real magic happens,” says the helmer, who just won a pair of GayVN Awards for Spain (Best All-Sex Movie and Best Director—Non-Sex).
“Group scenes are definitely back in style. They used to feel like a rare indulgence, but now audiences crave the energy and unpredictability that comes with multiple performers. For me, it’s exciting to watch everyone play off each other. When it clicks, it’s gorgeously messy and undeniably fun.”
Rush notes that gangbangs in particular are deceptively complex. They look effortless when they’re working, he says—but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.
“Derek pulled it off with a blend of precision and a really good attitude. It wasn’t just about physicality; it required timing, awareness, and trust in everyone on set. It’s one of those things where skill meets a little bit of daring, and the result is something that looks easy even though it’s anything but.”
Rush says that Wild Game offered the perfect warmup not just for himself, but for Kage (his first triple penetration as a bottom).
“It taught him rhythm, timing, and how to move seamlessly with multiple partners. By the time we got to this project, he knew exactly how to keep everything flowing and engaging. It was like a cheeky rehearsal that made this event project even more exciting than anyone anticipated.”
Ten Out of Ten also flirts with some near-fisting (“Don’t be surprised if a Fist First edition of this scene winds up surfacing on Fisting Inferno at some point,” says Rush) and has a memorable finish featuring a butt plug that keeps Kage stretched as the tops finish in him.
“That finish was very intentional. It’s a little audacious and visually unexpected,” says Rush. “Upping the ante isn’t about piling on more for the sake of shock; it’s about refinement. Each project asks a different question: Can we make it hotter, smarter, more confident? Sometimes that means scale, sometimes it’s restraint, sometimes it’s just a perfectly timed moment that lasts longer than expected. The goal is never excess, it’s impact. If it feels bold and a little dangerous, then I know we’ve done our jobs.”
And the director will soon be challenging himself to do it again.
“I can’t give away too much, but the right mix of talent, timing and temptation tends to spark ideas. Fans can expect things to get wilder, even more fun, and loads of surprises—one of which starts with the letters ‘Heath Halo.’ But, some things are best discovered when the curtain rises and the underwear comes down.”
