LAS VEGAS—Gay mega-site ASGmax has partnered with award-winning Asian-themed studio PeterFever to deliver Breaking the Rules, a four-episode collaboration featuring star models and directors from both studios.
Shot in Las Vegas during GayVN week, the production was lensed by directors Guy Criss and Micah Martinez, bringing together performers and creative teams during one of the biggest events in the gay adult industry.
The story revolves around a quasi-reality show concept in which top stars from the two studios occupy rival model houses locked in tight competition. “But true to reality-show twists, models secretly sneak into the opposing house for private and intimate rendezvous, with scorching results. Rivalry quickly gives way to irresistible chemistry in playful, electrifying encounters that truly ‘break the rules,’” a movie description reads.
Pairing top performers from both brands, the cast features ASGmax exclusives Andrew Delta and Ryder Owens, alongside PeterFever favorites Ricky Lee, Kai Carter, Benvi and Jason Wolf.
Producers Jeremy Babcock of ASGmax and Danny Zeeman of PeterFever were enthusiastic about the creative process and the results of their first collaboration.
Zeeman said, “One of the most exciting things about Breaking the Rules was bringing together talent from two premium studios and letting that chemistry unfold naturally on screen. Collaborating with ASGmax gave us the chance to create something that feels bigger than a typical production, two worlds colliding in the best possible way. The energy during GayVN weekend made it the perfect moment to capture that collaborative spirit, which is so important for our industry.”
ASGmax chief creative officer Babcock added, “This crossover project with PeterFever is an exciting first for us at ASGmax. This is a true ‘best of both worlds’ project where not only do we have models crossing over from each studio, but also productions from each studio. You get the full flavor and mix of styles from each side, converging into a creative mini-series that fans of both studios are going to love.”
Directors Criss and Martinez alternated episodes of Breaking the Rules, “creating a unified yet distinctive visual style across the series’ four chapters,” the description adds.
Martinez reflected on the creative process, saying, “Working with PeterFever was a blast. I really enjoyed the meshing of creative ideas and working with models I hadn’t had the pleasure of directing before. It’s exciting to expand our roster and experiment with new concepts. The idea of ‘breaking the rules’ was especially fun to explore—it’s very meta to play with the no-nos we usually tell actors to avoid in this industry. Leaning into that tension and letting it build naturally made the whole process incredibly enjoyable.”
Criss added, “I’ve always been a fan of ASGmax, so collaborating with them was high on my to-do list. I actually worked with Micah Martinez years ago when he was just starting out as a model, so it was great reconnecting after he transitioned into directing. I’m really proud of the work we created together, and I’m confident fans of both studios are going to love what we’ve done with Breaking the Rules.”
ASGmax exclusive Delta described his experience, saying, "I always love it when ASG ask me to film collaborative videos with other studios; it’s like getting a hall pass from your boyfriend. It’s fun to work with other studios and see how they operate, and I had a blast filming with PeterFever. Breaking the Rules marks the first of several planned collaborations between ASGmax.com and PeterFever.com.
The first episode, titled “The Interview,” stars Ricky Lee and Andrew Delta and premieres today, March 10, with upcoming chapters to follow.
