We haven't heard much from the acclaimed Tanya Hyde (AVN's Best Director, Foreign Release for 2000's Hell, Whores and High Heels for Pirate/Private USA) of late. World Without Men is her re-entry back into adult after a hiatus and while it has much to recommend, it's not an entirely successful production.

No one does that fetish-cum-hardcore thing better than Hyde and this all-girl title is, as always with Hyde, handsomely produced and highly stylized. The women in its four vignettes are across-the-board stunning, as is their high-end kink couture.

But the action, while certainly loaded with hot, horny images (the titles of the vignettes, such as "Chaos at the Clit Clinic" and "Dungeons, Dykes & Dildos" say it all), is a bit languid throughout and ends on a jarring, abrupt note in each of its scenes. Nonetheless, we'll still pre-nom it for Best All-Girl Feature since that field traditionally can use all the help it can get.
