Well done, ladies! Gone are the unnecessary intros; in favor of longer running time(s) per scene. Most hetero encounters begin to drop off at the ten-minute mark, but Girlfriends is entirely another animal. It has, for lack of a less male-centric phrase, staying power. All the better if guys find it whackable - but the series is obviously designed as alternate entertainment for gay women. On that level it's a 100 percent successful.

Details of this quartet of encounters would be redundant. They all hit the mark, with loving sensuality being the bullseye.

Our only complaint is there's a minimum of toy play and it's on the whiter side of lipstick lesbianship. A mixed cast could have added more flavor.
