Road trip! Anita Rover brings her vintage VW bus camper to pick up Alice Drake, who is running late because of an argument with her boyfriend ("I'm done with your dramas! Get out!") and approaches the van with her middle finger held high. They're off to reunite with old bud Lola Bellucci, who they haven’t seen in almost a decade. Bellucci's getting married. At a rest stop, good Samaritan Marcus London tells Rover her tire's going flat. He fixes it, and, later, Rover thanks him in the back of the van.
As the wedding approaches, Bellucci's having second thoughts, as we see during her detached interactions with her family and her shrink. Mum doesn’t approve of Bellucci's lifestyle activities with fiancé Luke Hardy, illustrated by a three-way encounter with them and waitress Diana Lawrence.
When Rover and Drake crash at friend Max Deeds' place, Rover flashes back to an anger-fueled hookup she had with now-bride-to-be Bellucci—Bellucci was pissed off at Hardy, a player who sees Bellucci's friends as opportunities to get laid—and Drake hooks up with Deeds.
When the tire goes flat again, they send an SOS to Bellucci and Hardy, who pick them up and bring them back to their place. That evening, Bellucci confides her second thoughts to Rover, who points out, "It's never too late to cancel" ... and the next morning, Bellucci gives Hardy back his ring and hops into the VW van with her buds, who all flip Hardy the bird before driving off. Road trip!
Director Liselle Bailey takes the familiar Dorcel elements—surgically unaltered bodies and casual sex (emphasized by condom use)—and moves them to England with good effect.
