When Vanessa Sky and Jay Smooth enter fortuneteller Jewelz Blu's gaudily-painted trailer for a reading, Smooth is only slightly mollified by Blu's breezy reassurance that the experience "should be relatively painless." ("Relatively?") When Blu takes Sky's hand, the scene-setting other-worldly oboe-and-celesta music—very Harry Potter, all this—abruptly stops as Blu envisions a spirited three-way romp with Sky getting tag-teamed by Ken Feels and Zac Wild. When Blu tells Sky and Smooth about this vision, Smooth angrily says that they're Sky's personal trainers as Sky snarls, "Thanks a lot."
A confrontation, a broken engagement, and a ring return later, Smooth apologizes to Blu for the drama ("It happens") and tells her, "Have a nice day," shaking her hand—giving Blu a vision of herself with him in a quick-cut fuck-and-marry montage that's over as soon as it starts. After he leaves, Blu's assistant Kimmy Kimm, spotting Blu's upset, asks, "Are you okay?" She isn't, she tells Kimm, especially after last night, when she got stood up at a restaurant and resolved her anger with a quickie with old flame Zane Walker—who cadges a reading out of her in the post-pop afterglow.
Newly un-engaged, Smooth invites Blu and Kimm to his place to watch the TV premiere of a new movie he directed, and while they're watching, Blu envisions herself having sex with Smooth and fingers herself to climax, telling Smooth, "It was good for me," as the final credits roll. After the movie, Kimm and Smooth's bud Lawson Jones check out Smooth's hot tub, while Smooth and Blu make Blu's sexy visions real. Things get weird when Blu envisions Sky confronting Smooth with a gun, and there's a knock on the door...
Harry Sparks' clever script and spot-on direction are supported by excellent cinematography by Mad Creativity and impressive acting and sexual performances by the cast.
