Poorly dubbed and incomprehensible as a story, Tropical Tramps, AVC's newest Argentinian import, loses a lot in translation. Nice locals, mostly outdoors, set a pretty backdrop for this look at sex in South America. The erotic scenes are aplenty, with the unnamed director going for every angle imaginable. But the sex is not very hot, with the participants really just going through the motions. The woodchip editing leaves scenes dangling, especially when two separate erotic moments that look almost the same anyway begin in a whirling stream, only to end up on the grass. It's weird. I guess those looking for lots of new faces might take a look, but even with the current crop of sexvids on our national market, they're still better when Born in the U.S.A.
