A wildly uneven concoction that cross-pollinates not only story concepts (Total Recall) and porn's own Night Trips while borrowing liberally from Night Dreams, but a shifting of mediums as well. A process that makes video look a lot like film is utilized for creating the "dream sequences," while the rest of the feature is basic shot-on-video footage. So what we have is a patchwork piece of ambitious erotica that, while falling somewhat short of its lofty goals, still manages to work as an example of engaging carnality.

The captivating Ashlyn Gere plays a young lovely hooked up to a contraption designed to allow her to visualize and experience her wildest sexual fantasies. The result is a continuous procession of dialogue-less dream scenarios that are lovingly enacted for the viewer. While all are commendable, the Raven/Rocco Siffredi liaison featuring the two hard body lovers romping against a backdrop of colored glass provides the video's hottest moment, and invites favorable comparison between this video and the much higher-budgeted efforts of director Andrew Blake. Ashlyn Gere is tremendous throughout, displaying the beauty, charisma, and sexual intensity necessary to carry a feature herself.

Production values are solid throughout. Highly recommended to anyone interested in seeing a unique approach to porn created on a conservative budget.
