This is the heartwarming story of Beth, her lover Claire and the baby they wanted to have. The video begins at a birthday party, where a small, eclectic group of friends sit around, waiting for the couple to arrive. They begin to tell the stories of how they came together and why they might be over.
All of their problems began when Beth decided that she wanted to have a baby, not the easiest thing for a girl in a lesbian relationship to do. However, Beth was determined to make it work and to find the right donor. She befriended a nice man who read stories to sick children in the hospital, and decided that he was the one. At the same time, Claire became friends with her "Bringing Up Baby" teacher. Little did they know it was the same person.
