The RS Institute is a school for troubled girls, and there they are taught to behave. Corporal punishment is a daily occurrence. Four young girls are being rewarded for good behavior, and the dorm mom, Lady D, takes them on a camping trip in the Colorado mountains. In the car along the way they are instructed as to how they should behave, and in the interest of a good spanking tape, they are bad girls. They are paddled repeatedly in the cabin with a paddle, wooden spoon, belt, hairbrush and the open hand.

The next day they all go hiking, but the girls get separated, one of the rules not to be disobeyed. Lady D has left her disciplinary devices in the cabin, so she searches the woods for appropriate switches, making each girl find and select the sapling that will swat her bad bad bottom. Once the girls return to the institute, they continue to misbehave. When Mr. M finds them in the garage smoking cigarettes, he takes matters into his own hands.
