Married life just didn’t fit into the master ‘till-death-do-us-part plan for Tommy Pistol and Freya Parker. So much so that Pistol, at mistress/therapist September Reign’s urging, has taken out a large insurance policy and hired hitman Ryan McLane to poison Parker, who it turns out is already planning on filing for divorce.
The problem is that hitman McLane is conflicted. Sure, he can use a couple hundred thousand as payment for the hit so he and money-hungry girlfriend Kenzie Taylor can go off the grid and live in some tropical paradise—but he keeps stalling as though something doesn’t feel right.
The lure of big money and freedom once Parker is killed isn’t just quietly talking here ... it is shouting—at McLane from Taylor and at Pistol from Reign, both of whom are pressuring the guys to speed things up and get it over.
McLane falls for Parker and a romantic hotel romp ensues. Unable to go through with the murder, he comes clean and confesses his original motive to off her, painting his new love for her as fait accompli. She forgives him and they both briefly live together until a vengeful Taylor sneaks in and poisons their drink.
This sounds complicated but it is easy to follow as the performers do a fine job getting it across. Everything really flows smoothly and fits together, and the sex, regardless of the motivation, ties into the situations seamlessly. Extra kudos to McLane for his fine acting and Energizer sex.
