In the wide, wide world of porno movies, a few directors stand out as being the best in their field.  Immediately, names like Chuck Vincent, Anthony Spinelli and Cecil Howard come to mind.  But, as far as out-and-out sex is concerned, I doubt if there’s anyone better than Alex DeRenzy.  While his films are not nearly as glossy as the aforementioned trio, they do contain some of the wildest sex scenes ever etched on celluloid. Now, thanks to these two new collections, DeRenzy’s greatest hits can be savored for viewing over and over again.

Among DeRenzy’s films are Pretty Peaches, Femmes DeSade, Long Jeanne Silver, Baby Face and Cheryl Hansen: Cover Girl.  Collectively, the list is quite impressive, albeit not very prolific.  That’s only five films over a creative period that spans nearly a decade.  But, individually, each film features a major breakthrough in adult cinema, dealing with subjects that were – and still are, on most occasions – considered taboo.

On the surface, Pretty Peaches is fairly simple comedy about a little girl lost trying to find her parents.  Look a little closer, however, and you’ll find a scene featuring enema sex and finale that showcases incest.  Femmes DeSade offers an array of wild stuff, from self-fellatio to strong S&M, violence and, finally, a degradation sequence that could bet eh strongest ever filmed.  Long Jeanne Silver has amputee sex, Baby Face features an actress that appears no older than 12, and Cheryl Hansen: Cover Girl serves up a pretty famous model in her first hardcore role.

If you seek DeRenzy’s most sensual moments, however, I wholeheartedly recommend both volumes. There’s a series of great erotic sequences here, some wildly different from the next.  Certainly, viewers should find at least a few to quench their sexual appetite.

Included in The Best of Alex DeRenzy is a classic seduction scene starring Cuddles Malone. With her shaved vagina, cute ponytails and underdeveloped chest, the tyke looks like she’s not old enough to cross the street by herself let alone partake in frenzied libidinous encounters.  But it’s DeRenzy’s penchant for capturing the unthinkable – a little girl having sex – that makes this scene so hot.  Another segment clipped from the same movie is one of the funniest gang-bangs in history.  A beautiful rock star (Kristine Heller) visits a party and is immediately accosted by a bunch of horny guys. She heads upstairs and screams for more.  Soon the party-goers are sending out for more troops, and the singer’s throat is tickled to ecstasy. Then there’s that infamous enema scene where Desire Cousteau’s Pretty Peaches is welcomed by her goofy uncle in an out-of-the-way bathroom.  While she “oohs” and “awws” he proceeds to administer an enema to his niece.  As the topper to the scene, she spritzes the water out in a steady stream that seems to last three minutes… or at least three gallons.  A classic mixture of high camp and high colonics.

If this seems too outrageous to you, you may want to stay away from Hot Pink.  It’s in this greatest hits package that kink is king, what with the likes of Long Jeanne Silver doing her stump the star routine. But there are some great erotic bits as well.  Cheryl Hansen and Joey Silvera go at it while an obscene phone caller huffs and puffs away.  John Leslie and a crew of muscular men get their engine steamed by Leslie Bovee in a boiler room and there’s that super orgy from Pretty Peaches with oil, John Leslie, Desiree and a bevy of bountiful bodies.

A minor problem with these volumes is the exclusion of credits. Porn vets and novices alike would certainly appreciate some information on the featured films.  But this is a small drawback.  Both The Best of Alex DeRenzy and Hot Pink are musts for anyone searching for the most electrifying moments adult films have to offer.
