Old timers may remember bandleader Kay Kyser and his "(College of Musical Knowledge," and this featurette should set them essentially in the same tempo for nostalgia. It features a character named "Professor Stringheimer," who, in mortarboard and graduation gown, operates an academy known as Striptease University.
Reading, writing and arithmetic is replaced by tassels, titties and gratuitous lingerie sequences. The professor conducts classes which cover agility and poise, and his female students make off-color remarks like stevedores.
The entire exercise comes off as cute but very quaint, and peek-a-boo looks at girls in panties are about the strongest sexual statements this show has to offer. Somewhere about two-thirds of the way into this panorama of pulchritude, the continuity guy lost his compass and we wind up in a Parisian art school. Not to worry, though, the girls in this segment are just as lovely.
Might I also point out the presence of Arlene Hunter in this tape? She's the lady who's often been confused for an early Marilyn Monroe, and is the model who actually performed in the girlie loop, "Apple, Knockers and Coke," the one to which MM has been mistakenly assigned.
