Ah, the wonders of shot-on-video. It's easy, cheap, quick, and voile, a sex feature hits the market. And so we have Starved For Affection, in which a weekend trip to a mountain cabin becomes a weekend of sex that three men won't forget. It's standard porn and nothing more. The "fun" starts when these hunky guys arrive at the cabin and find it a mess. They call Starving Students to come over and clean. Well, after finishing a hot lesbian encounter, the three women who comprise S.S. head on over, dressed in incredibly skimpy shorts and tees. Needless to say, they do no cleaning at all.

In case you haven't guessed, Starved is an all-sex video and it does have some redeeming qualities. The principles are all attractive, and seem to be enjoying themselves in a variety of positions. The problem is that the sex scenes go on for far too long; quickly losing the passion and excitement. The actresses try to cover this by laughing and squealing constantly and it doesn't work. For an all-sex video with no story, there are only five sexual sequences, and it's just not enough to keep the viewers' interest. There's a lot of oral exploration, and a lot of hands-on encounters, but with only six players in five scenes, you don't have enough going on to sustain any momentum.

Other drawbacks include the poor production qualities, as the lighting lacks at times and is very harsh. Shadows abound. Occasionally, the picture loses focus, and we lose sound altogether. Starved For Affection shows off its cheapness, rendering it forgettable among the plethora of new releases.
