Pity poor Maya Woulfe, who feels trapped/pressured in regard to the dating scene. It is bad enough that she has to be exposed to her roommate, Alexis Tae, who is constantly playing hide the salami with her loser boyfriend of the moment, Tommy Pistol.
But enough is enough—she moves in with her uncle, played admirably by Bryn Pryor, who tells her that "a slut is just someone getting laid more than you”—sage advice which leads her to explore the possibilities of an online connection on the app "Spark" with a profile he cleverly creates for her.
After numerous fails, Woulfe hooks up with Dante Colle in what turns into a love match complete with a piano music background and frolicking outside in public (in fountains, etc.) that will bring out the romantic side in everyone.
