Sexually, this production is just average. Technically, it is a mess. The storyline is a jumble of hard-to-follow deceptions, characters and an incomprehensible reference to a secret suicide that is quickly dropped; the oft-used natural light washes out in white rooms; editing is jumpy and destroys any coherence of a plot or build in sexual energy; the sound is low for voices; English-speaking Italian actors sound uncomfortable and stilted, leaving sentences and thoughts unfinished or blatantly screwing up lines. But the sets and locations are gorgeous; we give them that.
While the performers all look great, star Bulgari's sex scenes are stale and phoned in. Major and Nicol have a brief, intense sweaty encounter that pleases, but only Trentalance provides any real fire and heat, especially with Carso as doctor and nurse, complete with a beautiful white stocking lingerie nurse uniform. It's a brief temperature rise in an otherwise sedate offering.
Retailing: The female half of couples might appreciate the locations and accents.
