Consider this a tribute to past mainstream theatrical releases. As an occasionally artsy film noir release, and briefly in B&W, director Seth Gamble assumes the sole male outlet of five ladies’ lust.
It begins with Episode 1, “Lucid Instincts,” where, as the sexy suspect in a murder, Kimmy Granger “basically” uses her mind and body and feminine wiles to easily seduce detective Gamble. Once that is completed and she has his full ... attention ... they enjoy a piece against a minimalist background and she is knocked off the suspect list after he seals her lips with his pelvic explosion.
Episode 2, “Lucid Things,” switches things around as Gamble is now part of a criminal ring with Charly Summer and Jill Kassidy. Worried that Kassidy may panic and talk, he instructs Summer to get her mind off things—which leads to a Sapphic scene that ends with Gamble joining in for a threesome.
Episode 3’s “Lucid Morning” is a bit different. Aidra Fox does her best Audrey Hepburn—complete with a sophisticated night-on-the-town big city look, outfit, setting, sunglasses and even a vocal soundtrack. Skipping ahead to the next morning, she is awakened by new neighbor Gamble, who, once seeing her, immediately and in a lightly humorous scene, obviously now has a case of morning wood. Fox comes on to him strongly after saying she is rather unconventional, and he replies, “I can adapt.” He does just that.
Gamble get a “raging” hard-on for Gianna Dior in Episode 4, “Lucid Bull,” where he portrays a boxer trying vainly to abstain from sex in preparation of an upcoming prize fight. This goes contrary to her desires, and apparently whatever Dior wants, Dior gets. While she may have won this round, Gamble visibly is the victor as his pugilistic penis comes out on top and ends things on his own terms atop her short ‘n curlies without having to await the clanging of the bell.
