Basically 42nd Street in Las Vegas, Show Girls delivers the necessary moves that make for a high-quality porn flick. Expensive looking and loaded with very attractive performers, this film is one of the better efforts I have seen of late. Although the cliched script gets in the way on occasion, do not let this stop you from enjoying the other aspect of the movie; the Show Girls.

And oh what girls!

Undoubtedly, the star here is Joanna Storm. Trim and healthy, she looks "mahvelous." Two of her sex scenes are the film's standouts; a super-charged fantasy on top of a limo (she gives it a buff and a polish, ha ha) and a three-way that includes Jessica Wylde. No less attractive is Stacey Donovan, always one of my personal faves. With a dead-on portrayal of a girl who knows what she wants (and will do anything to get it) Donovan is extremely sultry. After seeing this flick, I find that Stacey has finally come around to star status.

With excellent cinematography and decently staged dance routines, Show Girls is a fabulous cut above the standard porn flick shot in someone's back yard. As I said before, this production swallowed some cash as is evidenced in the costumes worn by the girls. Show Girls proves that a decent plot, careful craftsmanship and sex scenes that are well-edited can result in top-notch entertainment. And that is the point of any show... to entertain.
