The title is definitely one of those generic, '90s-era toss-offs intended solely to incorporate the name of the vid's star in any way possible – the six scenes here certainly don't all contain Serenity, nor people in denim – but Serenity in Denim does showcase the porn sweetie/E! regular for whom it was conceived very well. In addition, it serves as an early example of the craftsmanship possessed by current AVN Award-nominated director Brad Armstrong.

To be fair, the title isn't completely arbitrary; as Armstrong mentions in passing during the featurette, the idea seems to have been to emulate those Levi's commercials that were so pervasive during the period, where guys would walk into a roadside diner in the middle of nowhere and find the hottest woman on Earth working there, or whatnot. Some of the scenes fall into line with that concept, and some don't. But they're all pretty damn good, especially the closer with Serenity and Sydnee Steele teaming up on Ian Daniels (and each other) in an old metal wash basin. Threeway tub-lovin' … what sweet Serenity.
