Made in Germany in 1979, Sensational Janine is an unsung classic of early porn, though sadly, the color saturation of this transfer is somewhat inferior to that of the movie's last videotape release.

Patricia Rhomberg essays the title role as an ingénue discovering her sexuality by watching her mother and step-father getting it on, then trying the same actions with her step-brother. From there, she experiments with a local deliveryman, her mother's boarder, her priest, her stepfather and yet another boarder before finding her calling as a courtesan.

Of the 15 or so sex scenes, Rhomberg is in almost every one, doing everything but anal, and never losing her sultry, provocative smile.
