See No Evil is more notable for its crossover significance - it's the first Hollywood movie to be directed by a former porn shooter using his porn name, in this case the great AVN Hall of Famer Greg Dark - than for its content.

While Dark's adult work (New Wave Hookers, The Devil in Miss Jones 3 & 4, etc.) was groundbreaking and for the ages, See No Evil is pretty much just another slasher movie (though certainly one that is technically competent with some cool computer-generated grisliness.

WWE's mountain of a man superstar, Kane, who isn't required to speak much dialog, but who grunts with the best of 'em, stars. Hey, at least the script rightfully places the blame for the Kane character's homicidal fucked-up-ness on his anti-sex fundamentalist upbringing.

Perhaps next time out, with better material to work with, Dark can demonstrate if he's as capable of making a mark on the mainstream as he did on porndom.
