In this twisted 1981 tale from Jess Franco, the director of Vampyros Lesbos, among other cult classics, a young newlywed (Playboy Playmate Ursula Fellner) has her honeymoon cut short when she's captured by guards from a ruthless women's prison, where she's taken and subjected to all sorts of horrific humiliations and torments.
According to the packaging, this is the first totally uncensored version of the film available in the U.S., and in viewing it, one can see why it was censored in the past. After all, it contains a scene of bestiality - not exactly the kind of stuff that passes moral muster in this country most of the time.
One thing for sure is that this is a gorgeous transfer, and on top of that, you get a great interview with Franco in which he discusses working with transsexual star Ajita Wilson, playing a gay slave trader in the film and his personal sense of morality. A definite gem for exploitation hounds.
