Reviews

Brad Armstrong’s high-tech vision of porn in the future is superbly executed, fueled by imaginative art direction, a provocative sci-fi premise and considerable star power. The director orchestrates a visually dazzling piece that showcases the diverse talents of the current Wicked Girls, each cast appropriately and all delivering the necessary sexual heat. The result is one of the best adult movies of the year that clearly ranks among the finest achievements of Armstrong’s glittering career.

In the year 2040, sex droid performers mix with a handful of human porn stars that remain in a business that is run by a few mega companies worth billions. Duncan Caldwell (Armstrong) is the ruthless CEO of Real Doll Industries, the leading supplier of “sex anibots” who is poised for porn world domination. But feisty entrepreneur Morris Lanning (Marcus London) stands in his way. The former RDI employee, who was fired for creative differences with Caldwell, has unveiled a prototype anibot named Mira (Alektra Blue). This leggy and beautiful fuck machine is so human-like that it could take over the market. “The most perfect creature I’ve ever created,” Lanning says. The trouble is Caldwell believes Lanning committed corporate espionage by building the super droid and he wants his property back. Violence ensues and so does romance.

Blue’s striking green eyes make her ideal for the role of Mira, whose first taste of sex comes in the form of an ass-fuck from veteran, human stud Ryan (Randy Spears)—the son of Randy Spears. And her ball-draining precision leaves a lasting impression on both man and droid. “It was a pleasure to service you,” she tells Ryan. Despite banging other droids, Mira starts to have life-like feelings for Ryan, while he begins falling for her. But 2040 is not just a robot love story.

Jessica Drake sizzles in the role of Monica Sweet, Caldwell’s deliciously dirty assistant at RDI. Watching Drake peel off a black leather cat suit to fuck London at his lab is nearly worth the price of admission. Drake also gets d.p.’d during an eight-girl, six-guy orgy that breaks out during the opening ceremony of the 2040 AVN Expo. No hole goes unfilled in the grandiose boff that ends with the girls swapping cum with entertaining vigor.

The Wicked Girls are terrific in their complimentary roles. Mikayla Mendez is impossibly foxy as Caldwell’s head lab tech. She gives droids Mick Blue and Jerry all they can handle in one sweaty throw-down that culminates with a generous, double facial and a smile, solidifying it as one of the feature’s hottest scenes. Kirsten Price exhibits magnetic screen presence as Lanning’s slutty assistant Kimi, who stays in character mid-thrust with Eric Masterson. “Fuck me with that fucking robot cock!” she screams. Speaking of owning the part, Kaylani Lei turns her Myoto character into one bad-ass bitch. Caldwell hires the hit-woman to send Lanning a message, and she knows how to make an entrance. Wielding a sharp tongue and a light saber, Myoto leaves us wanting more.

Beautifully captured with a smart script from Armstrong, this is a triumph for Wicked’s production team. Droid sex has never looked so good.
