This is director Jim Powers' first release under his new production company, Powersville, Inc., and this quirky set of vignettes, starring some of his recent regulars, is exactly what fans would expect from him. It's perverted, darkly humorous, at times, and dirty. Unfortunately, the editing in this exploration of women as imprisoned objects of desire (a sidebar, in a way, to being objectified) isn't as good as it should be in places, and, as a result, the heat suffers.

The video's most visually interesting scene features Crystal Ray, hogtied, while Jay Ashley, her captor, masturbates looking at her but never touches her. In his fantasies, Ray confesses her love for him, and he fucks her ass and pussy. Ray really plays the adoration up well.

Julie Night is dominated by an off-screen female presence extremely similar to a certain controversial female porn director who has notably employed Night in the past.
