I knew I was going to have a fun time with this assignment when I first accepted it.  Either the video would be amusing and I would enjoy it or it would be complete trash and I would have an even better time ripping it apart.

I’m going to have even a better time!  Funky Cartoons is so hopelessly inept, so incredibly bad, that calling it ‘animation’ is stretching the term.  If you put a bunch of chimps in a room with magic markers and a camera, their product would look positively Disneyesque by comparison!

All of the sexual action is “cycled,” which is a phrase in animation meaning a repetitive series of motions that is drawn once, and looped endlessly to simulate movement in the cheapest possible way.

Besides that fact that Funky Cartoons is unbearably boring, the “gag” (such as the lady that masturbates with a cactus) are downright adolescent, and the quality of the print itself appears to have been gathering mold in somebody’s basement for years.  To top it all off, the tape is “narrated” in a manner suggesting a small audience trying to make sense of the whole thing when the stories begin to fall apart!
