Aided by an extremely attractive cast, body paints, Trivial Pursuit games and sex with wine, Intimate Couples serves as a decent little video, unique enough to warrant your attention. Unfortunately, the picture quality on the review cassette was muddy, detracting from the overall eroticism.

The basic story concerns two very friendly couples who explore new depths of their sexuality with each other. The highlights include teddy-bear Herschel Savage and redhead Jacquelie Lorians body painting each other (Savage wants to know "is this stuff toxic?") and an arousing Trivial Pursuit orgy scene at the end. Featuring cute blonde Rikki Blake, who's featured on the box cover and does do one hardcore bit, this eight-person bash might be my favorite group sex scene of the year. Intimate Couples, if you can stand all this video intimacy, is worth checking out.
