Bad Girls IV presents some problems that if understood could make this feature film a bit more enjoyable. Filmed about four years ago, and intended as a softcore comedy called Nice Girls Do by its makers David I. Frazer and Svetlana, it's finally seeing the light of release with whatever hardcore footage that was available being inserted. As a hardcore film, it's a major disappointment, given the gorgeous women who strut their luscious bodies throughout the movie. As a comedy, well, only some of it works.

During its drag time of 104 minutes, Bad Girls IV presents a few hardcore scenes. But the best scenes involve Richard Pacheco giving head to the late and lovely Shauna Grant in the stock room of a shoe store, and Jamie Gillis in a hot segment with Tina Ross. Yet a lot of the simulated sex (and there's plenty) is well done, making Bad Girls IV much better for adult film novices than true fans.

The confused, rambling epic revolves around Gillis, a modern-day Cassanova who will earn $150,000 for him and his friends (Jerry Butler and Richard Pacheco) if he makes love to 15,000 women by age 35. Bad Girls IV chronicles the last few months of his pursuits, where he falls in love with Tina Ross, almost ruining the years of hard work.

Frazer and Svetlana have given us some of the best hardcore movies in the history of porn, including the original Bad Girls, Pink Lagoon and Surrender in Paradise.

This attempt to go soft misses, and Gourmet Video's attempt to make it hard again also falls short. What we have here is an expensive production without a home. It can be recommended for nice-looking people, good filmmaking, varied locations and one last look at beautiful Shauna. But don't be disappointed if you're not turned on much and you only laugh a couple of times.
