From an acting standpoint Jean-Claude Van Damme has nothing to worry about. But martial arts or no martial arts, I wouldn't want my left hook dating a right cross from any of the babes in this trio of female d'combat tapes. Man, they are out to kill.

As always, the California Wildcats series features colorful locales and storylines to showcase a catfight —in this instance pitting Champagne against Le Dawn in a little number called, Bridal Battle. I am totally intrigued to what extent this tape goes to achieve effect. The look and variety of sets is certainly better than most adult features, as jilted lover Champagne vows to get her man back on his wedding day to La Dawn. Talk about plot development: champagne in a white wedding gown, her car broke down in a busy intersection, on her way to kick the shit out of her nemesis. The wedding reception turns into chop suey with cake and glop all over the place. Add an intriguing cameo by Jay (Beverly Hills Vamp) Richardson as the half-sloshed bride groom, and you have one out-of-sight tape for this genre.

Going from kid gloves to boxing gloves, Video Sports Ltd.'s All American Boxing: Kelly vs Jasae is pretty much, well, all-American. The gals are freckle fresh and have the grace and composure to slug it out under a set of rules in a gym atmosphere with ref, judges, etc. No nudity, and this tape has the look of some ABC-TV sports special.

By contrast TAO's The Test Part 2 is more of a rules out the window slugfest as a couple of girls in negligees and boxing gloves clobber, and I mean clobber, one another. You pay for realism, you're getting it here. Fans of the genre no doubt will want to add this to their collections. A little nudity in this tape, but nothing really to write home about. Well done.
