Wow, what a knockout production. Both writer Neil Wexler and costumer Judy Blue, under Paul Thomas' able direction, have recreated Gaston LeRoux's 1920's masterpiece Phantom of the Opera... and turned its duller moments into sextravaganza. The only question here is who to laud first?

Shanna, as the reigning star of the Paris Opera House, delivers her usual stunning sexual performance and it also turns out that she can play a 19th century diva to the hilt, too! Byron and Morner also come across believably as the paramours of the lovely ladies, but opera maestro Rick Savage has to wait till the end for his turn in the saddle.  Sad to say, the usually excellent Aja, while giving her all in the sack, isn't quite up to portraying a turn of the century operatic understudy with higher aspirations. Her best scene is a girl/girl with Nikki Knights and I suppose I should mention the orgy towards the end, even though it's obviously been thrown in more to add a bit of extra sex than to advance the plot.

Still, even those familiar with the original Phantom will enjoy the new twists Wexler has introduced, and will get off on just about everybody's performance. Nice packaging.
