If you raided every silk tree establishment in New York City, I don't think you could come up with enough foliage to match the set of Adventure Studios which was specially created for this shoot. For that reason give strong kudos to the set designers who have created a convincing castaway environment for this cute knockoff -- complete with gorgeous intercut exteriors of Hawaiian beaches.
The characters, Gillie, the skipper, the professor, Mrs. "Powell," etc., are shipwrecked on this atoll populated by (I presume) cannibals who are interested in eating only one thing.
The dialogue is campy, sex scenes adequate and Lynn Lemay, especially, hams it up (with a combo Fallon/Lady Godiva wig) as the movie star. Not a weak performance in the lot. Cliffhanger ending sets the table for a sequel. Look for it. This show is something uniquely different.
