Alexis DeVell and Shayla LaVeaux are roommates. Alexis plays an anal-retentive porn starlet while Shayla's into mysticism and psychics. Alexis comes home from a hard day to find her roommate meditating on the floor with psychic Serenity. Alexis has a tizzy and Serenity figures it's time to boogie on out of there. Before she leaves, she gives the girls a mysterious cube and tells them that when two people touch it at the same time, "a greater understanding will occur". While they're asleep Shayla's and Alexis' souls switch bodies. Now the fun begins. Each one must live the other's life while they try to find Serenity to help them switch back. The true-to-life casting is perfection. There's just the right edge of comedy when Alexis (as Shayla) has to perform in a sex vid, and doesn't have a clue what's going on. Oh, yeah, the sex is pretty good too. Worthy of special note is the tape-ending threeway with Peter North, Alexis and Shayla. The script and acting are superb, and slightly overshadow the sex, but it's still a nice way to spend an evening.
