Something Weird Video has amassed a staggering collection of girlie loops. The company currently offers 55 2-hour volumes in its Nudie Cutie series (all packaged for attractive video store display).

To celebrate it's special 50th anniversary volume in the Nudie Cutie series, the company has assembled a potpourri of full color vignettes, most of which come from 16mm prints and negatives. A rough count tallies about 17 loops in this volume most, probably all, of which were shot in the 1960's. The scenes feature either bedroom or living room seduction poses. Nearly all of the material depicts girls in garter belts and stockings stripping to nudity or near-nudity. One nice thing about these loops in general is that the camerawork describes a true appreciation for the female figure with lots of lingering body shots. It's the type of camerawork that simply will not be found in contemporary glamor videos.

The quality of these loops vary from pretty good to some quite color-rich, and, as is the charm with these little treasures, you'll stumble upon on one or two that are just strange, period. For instance, the opening vignette features a semi-nekkid brunette who models a hat that's large enough to qualify for statehood. There's also a couple of two-girl segments in this collection that add a touch of spice. The extra extra bonus of Vol. 50 is special boxcover artwork created by comics legend Dave Stevens. That you won't want to miss.

Video dealers have reported tremendous customer response to the Nudie Cuties. You might consider adding some of these volumes to your alternative video section.
