Reviews

If we had a time machine, it would be a simple matter to transport Deception back to the early '80s and watch it fly off the shelves. Now, we live in more sexually challenging times. Deception follows the ragged lives of a swinging couple (Lene Hefner and Jon Dough) whose love/hate relationship is teetering towards disaster. One wonders why Lene puts up with Dough's churlish behavior (which includes a near-forced fuck with Derrick Lane) when she has a loving, devoted boy-toy (Devin Wolf) waiting on the side.

Apparently, a cut in her "Dough"-funded lifestyle isn't worth the trouble, although she does manage to sneak in a lot of cock and pussy on the side (the later comes by way of Alexis Dane). When Lene introduces Alexis to Devin, their mutual attraction (and eventual tryst) begin to chip away at Lene's fragile self-esteem.

Sounding 80's enough yet? Add to the mix some tame sex, with lots of zooms, but hardly any contemporary '90s wide-angle close-ups. The sole anal scene begins, we would swear, as a bad joke: a buck-toothed call girl wearing a mile-high wig shows up at Dough's door. By the time he plants his dick between her cheeks we realize that no intentional laughs are forthcoming. Our hope that Deception might be some kind of satirical throwback is dashed; this material (penned by the Director) is earnest as the day is long. And as cliched.

Although Lene and her real-life companion Devin do the horizontal hokey-pokey with a decent amount of lust, the hottest scene occurs when Lene cornholes Dane's ass with her tongue. Stuck in an unflattering role which paints her as being either too selfish or too fucked-up to know what's good for her, Lene manages to pull off a minor miracle. We would, in face, cast a pre-nom in her direction for Best Actress.
