This release deserves some special consideration. First off, the overdubbed dialogue is downright laughable. It seems as though the same man and woman sat on a soundstage and recreated the entire dialogue, in poorly synced yet exceptional English, in quite the same manner that stoners once turned the volume off the television and improvised with comic results. But who rents porn for the dialogue anyway? The plot involves a young couple who travel to Santo Domingo to make a documentary film. She is kidnapped by inept terrorists expecting a huge ransom. The video is totally peopled by Euro-babes and Euro-studs, in scenes that were obviously shot before the presidential election debacle, as they never heard that bush is back. Men and women alike wear the tiniest semblance of pubic patches on their otherwise hairless and flawless bodies. A handsomer cast is hard to find. Athletic outdoor sex and quaint travel footage make for a stunning visual treat, though it is unfortunate that these vacationing Europeans never commingle with the local color.
