The anonymous producers have meticulously re-configured the spanking video within the framework of the original and most addictive of reality programming (another trip to the well): Court TV. The wrap-around segments hosted by Tierre(!?) is dead-on matter-of-fact stern-faced improv. So many fetish titles feebly fumble for plausible motivation to dish out punishment, plot-wise. This is the best set-up to date.
Instead of facing legal consequences (jail, fines) those women found guilty of general irate irresponsible bitchiness are shipped off to "Raven Hill Manor" where a stern series of butt-cheek bludgeoning (with a switch, mostly) ensues. And at 45 minutes, what takes place is a brief, yet relentlessly brutal series of whacks to one (unbilled) woman's backside. After the satirical set-up, the bruises, welts and howls of pain become extreme. Hardcore spanking loyalists will enjoy the satire and the brutality, but they don't jive thematically. And it ends abruptly. Raven Hill seems capable of more, as evidenced by the redeeming plethora of bonus features.
