It's not clear just where this vid went wrong, but the phrase "lack of focus" comes to mind. The scenes appear to be "behind the scenes" footage shot on other sets, and others have done that fairly successfully, but most attempts to be both a documentary and a hot porn feature fail on both counts, as is the case here.

Yet one would think that experienced directors like Jon Yuma and Nic Cramer would be aware of the formulae, "Watching Linda Thoren And Dillon Fucking = Hot" but "Watching Nic Cramer Watching (On The Monitor) Linda Thoren And Dillon Fucking = Not Hot."

And it's not as if the performers don't know what they're doing. For instance, in the fourth scene, Rebecca Lord certainly knows how to indoctrinate newbie Rumika Power into the joys of Sapphic sex, and the scene at it appears in the feature it was shot for was probably quite hot. But here, with the shifting "behind the scenes" camera angles, the pauses for stills and the jumpy editing, whatever heat was generated goes right out the window.

There are other lessons to be learned as well. For example, though the model train layout presented prior to the second scene (with Dru Berrymore and Rafe) is interesting, particularly the miniature amusement park, when the couple gets to fucking, it's on the floor beside the layout, which is in no way incorporated into the scene. That's a shame; a scene with the couple making it as the trains flow around them would have had a nice visual impact. Likewise, Christi Lake's "alien suit," which we see being applied in short bits throughout the vid, serves little purpose here, though it probably did in whatever feature it was created for, and her scene with Mark Davis suffers from the usual interruptions. It is somewhat enjoyable watching Christi peel off the latex, however.
