You know the old saying, “politics and porn make strange bedfellows.” Well, maybe that’s not the saying, but after viewing Public Affairs it makes sense. In fact, a more fitting title might be Pubic Affairs.
Paul Thomas (a most uncharismatic politician) plays Congressman Stern, a candidate running for the Senate. He preaches women’s rights, while screwing chicks left and right. Of course, his driving libido proves to be his political downfall.
There’s a sub-plot involving an investigative reporter, Elvira Lawrence (lovely Annette Haven). She confers with Stern’s aides Tommy (Joey “stud” Silvera) and Jodee (Annette Heinz). Haven and Silvera also share an intense bedroom session and Heinz sizzles in the shower with porn pro George Payne.
But, hands down, the best sexual stunt has horny Kelly Nichols devouring the Congressman’s most valuable asset. They get it on in a moving van in a series of non-stop sexual hijinks which leads up to a predictable conclusion that you an see coming a mile away.
In this election year, an entertaining erotic political farce would be most welcome. Unfortunately, Public Affairs just misses.
