This, quite simply, does everything right. A huge cast enables the creative plot to gel, percolate and explode into a product where one equally enjoys watching sex and non-sex alike. A big pleasure is seeing familiar adult performers being allowed to do a role where they can expand on their screen presence in regards to acting and characterization, have fun even when seriously doing so, and come across at the same level as actors in a well-made mainstream release.
The basic plot: a crash, with a female survivor, prompts the military to come in and classify everything in the hospital as top secret.
Some roles are just made to fit the performer. Tommy Pistol is an arrogant military asshole, Mick Blue is a smart-ass know-it-all, Alex Jones does his best relaxed Jeff Goldblum impression, Cherie DeVille excellently portrays an intense no-bullshit hospital researcher—and so on; it is all how the viewer interprets it. And occasional seriously-delivered light humor, like Blue telling Jones “I’ll be back” in his best Arnold accent, just adds to the enjoyment.
The first sex occurs in a creative place: in the middle of a long hospital corridor, Blue and DeVille, who seem to dislike one another yet know they are a great sexual fit, bang bones. Next up is Ryan Reid and Monique Alexander in a threesome with Hollywood Cash. The remaining sex has the alien patient, Luna Star, indulging in anal in the operating room with Jones, and finally this couple is part of a foursome with Blue and DeVille as they become acclimated to being a part of the new order of dominant species on Earth.
Kudos to director Ricky Greenwood and his shooting and post-editing crew for an inspired job with an immense cast and complicated plot. Very well done! That, plus the costumes, settings and not overblown special effects, really complement the final product.
This is a love story, a survival story, a medical story, a sci-fi story, a war story, an invasion story, a horror story, a contagion story, and a lot more—and damned if it doesn’t work.
But it is the acting ability of the main characters that pushes this over the top—and they really, really shine. Consider this an absolute must-see—and no fast-forwarding allowed!
